Although her background has been based mostly in solo performance work -- she has performed her work on such diverse stages as Australia's Sydney Opera House, Joe's Pub in NYC, the Comedy Central Theatre in L.A. and the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, among many others -- Cristin has also penned 3 original screenplays. In addition to the 2004 HIFF Sloan Fellowship won for her screenplay, Mütter, Cristin's scripts have won numerous undergraduate awards at NYU, have finished in the top 10% of both the 2004 Nicholl Fellowship and 2004 Austin Film Festival Screenplay competitions, and have earned her the Grand Prize for Screenwriting at the 2003 Philadelphia Film Festival.
