Directed by Eugene Martin and produced Joan Bressler and Rob Kates, the Mutter short was shot on location in Philadelphia and inside the Mutter Museum. All of the oddities and specimens featured in the short are real. The Mutter short showcases, in brief, many of the important elements of the feature-length script -- the handsome and arrogant Mutter, the grim and combative medical community and stunning oddities which Mutter collected and studied for decades.
